I just had to post this picture of the sunset tonight, it was just so beautiful.

My uncle always took time to look at the sunset - no matter what. I think that is a lovely idea. The world is so full of rushing that we miss the simple and the beautiful. And no two sunsets are alike are they?

The egg drying was fascinating! Do you use your dehydrator a lot? The Man really wants one and I keep forgetting to put it on the list of things to buy for him.

Sunsets are often a reflection of what the next day will bring. Beautiful colours.

Aims, I love the sunsets - mainly because I can rarely prize my eyes open enough to see the sunrises :-) and I also love cloud formations which are accentuated by the colouring.

The dehydrator is new and the jury is still out on how useful it is mainly because I'm not using it ot full capacity so I feel it's not fuel efficient. However I wouldn't be attempting to dry the eggs without it so I'll see what I feel in a year of use.

Barbara do you have the saying 'Red sky at night, shepherds delight, red sky in the morning, shepards warning'? Doesn't always work but usually true. I've also bought a book on clouds to see if I can read them - but I need to find time to read the book!!

It is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of the days I used to live in the countryside. Watching the sunsets driving back home was something very special for me. Y.
